When something takes hold in the Big Apple, it invariably spreads outward to the rest of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Dragons Are Here! | Jonathan Cahn\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pUxytRrRx_E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So when NYC opens its arms wide for a dragon in celebration of the new season of HBO\u2019s \u201cHouse of the Dragon,\u201d a prequel of the \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d series, alarm bells start going off for many who point to the spiritual ramifications.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Dragons-Prophecy-Israel-Dark-Resurrection\/dp\/1636413994\/ref=zg_bs_g_12781_d_sccl_1\/132-7312801-3900764?psc=1\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pastor Todd Coconato raised the alarm after a 270-foot inflatable dragon, Vhagar, was wrapped around the spire of the Empire State Building to promote the new season, and supposedly in honor of the building while \u201cpledging allegiance\u201d to the fictional king over the dragons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FToddCoconatoofficial%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0m7qpHUx22Qn8gPHoZZudA2PqbHwoZZ6g7eYsMWBrnPMgjYPaULMmFtNPmAnNHquzl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"394\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/remnant.news\/hanews\/wp-content\/uploads\/image0-8.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7505\" srcset=\"https:\/\/remnant.news\/hanews\/wp-content\/uploads\/image0-8.jpeg 394w, https:\/\/remnant.news\/hanews\/wp-content\/uploads\/image0-8-185x300.jpeg 185w, https:\/\/remnant.news\/hanews\/wp-content\/uploads\/image0-8-92x150.jpeg 92w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 394px) 100vw, 394px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJust after the Empire State Building pledged its allegiance to the king, Vhagar descended upon the heart of New York City and has claimed the mast of the \u2018World\u2019s Most Famous Building\u2019 as her perch,\u201d said Empire State Realty Trust Chairman and CEO Tony Malkin in a public statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Coconato points to the Bible saying that references to dragons are quite telling of the symbolic representation behind NYC embracing \u201cthe dragon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the Bible, Satan is referred to as a dragon in the book of Revelation. This imagery emphasizes his power and deceit. Revelation 12:9 describes him as \u2018the great dragon\u2026that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray,&#8217;\u201d Coconato posted on Facebook. \u201cThis symbolic representation underscores Satan\u2019s role as the adversary and deceiver.
