Will Presdient Trump Help Usher In “Golden Age” For America?
Written by Kris Gillespie
I would like to ask for prayers, to cover Trump (his safety) and his incoming administration as they strive to usher in a golden age of economic prosperity for all, restoration of free speech and religion, safety, and traditional values (restoration of our moral compass). Enhanced national security, protection of our schools from propaganda and sexualization, energy independence, and unity between Americans.
In this Op-Ed, I will cover three areas:
- Incoming Dream team (Cabinet, Appointments, plus Musk and Ramaswamy). The list will grow
- Electors’ timeline up to Inauguration
- A new alignment between the Government and the Church
#1. Incoming Dream team. In Trumps first administration, he trusted many Washington insiders to help him accomplish his agenda to help Make America Great Again and build that wall. While many positive outcomes were achieved, Trump experienced personnel leaks, betrayals and staff that undermined his authority, a hostile media and the embedded Washington political class that worked to block his America First agenda.
Trump’s second administration has a mandate from the American People– President Trump has shocked the world with his unorthodox Cabinet choices. It appears his new team is competent and loyal. They are disrupters who excel in IQ, EQ, Grit, they tend to be younger, highly educated, not afraid of coming against legacy bureaucracies. Most are political outsiders, not the political establishment. There are 27 Cabinet level positions that require Senate Confirmation.
The “X” Factor: Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are not Cabinet level appointments, but they have been given a unique mandate from The Oval Office. “Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies — Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement,” Trump said in his statement. Of course, their recommendations must be put in legislation in Congress and approved. The control of both houses of congress by the Republicans being a critical factor ensuring they are implemented.
It will become, potentially, “The Manhattan Project” of our time. Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectives of “DOGE” for a very long time. To drive this kind of drastic change, the Department of Government Efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside of Government and will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive large scale structural reform and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.
I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the Federal Bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency and, at the same time, making life better for all Americans. Importantly, we will drive out the massive waste and fraud which exists throughout our annual $6.5 Trillion Dollars of Government Spending. They will work together to liberate our Economy and make the U.S. Government accountable to “WE THE PEOPLE.” Their work will conclude no later than July 4, 2026 – A smaller Government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th Anniversary of The Declaration of Independence. I am confident they will succeed!
They are given 18 months to trim the size of our government, reduce redundancies, and cede power from these three letter agencies (IRS, FBI, DOE, SEC, EPA etc.), staffed by unelected bureaucrats. This “shadow government (deep state) create rules that affect everyone. These bureaucrats can’t be voted out or fired due to civil service protections. Let’s watch as these two men find a way to break their chokeholds over America. These regulations penalize ordinary Americans and discourage innovation and job creation through regulations, sanctions, fees, and penalties.
To date, RFK, Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth appear to be getting the most heat from the left, RINOs and progressives. This informs me- that these individuals (political disrupters) will be the most effective in creating an atmosphere that where the American dream is attainable. And we live in nation that is safe (border security), have improved health outcomes, while enjoying our rights to free speech, and religious freedoms.
RFK (70): An environmental attorney who challenged corporations such as DuPont and Monsanto, Kennedy is the son of former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, and nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy.
“FDA’s war on public health is about to end,” Kennedy previously wrote on X. “This includes its aggressive suppression of psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelating compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise, nutraceuticals, and anything else that advances human health and can’t be patented by Pharma.
“If you work for the FDA and are part of this corrupt system, I have two messages for you: 1. Preserve your records, and 2. Pack your bags.”
Tulsi Gabbard (43): Joined the Hawaii Army National Guard in 2003. By 2020, Gabbard had transferred from the Hawaii National Guard to the Army Reserve. She continues to serve and currently holds the rank of lieutenant colonel. Gabbard served in the U.S. House of Representatives for eight years while balancing her political career with her military duties.
Following her stint in the Hawaii state Legislature, she ran for U.S. Congress and won office in the 2012 election cycle. She was reelected three more times and concluded her last term in office in January 2021.
The DNI is a Cabinet-level position, established in 2004, responsible for overseeing the U.S. government’s intelligence-gathering efforts. If confirmed, the role would require Gabbard to coordinate both information-gathering and interagency cooperation between the various U.S. intelligence and national security components. The role also entails coordinating intelligence sharing between the United States and its allies and partners.
Pete Hegseth (44): Hegseth is a retired Army National Guard major and combat veteran turned author and political commentator. He lives in Hendersonville, TN since 2023. While studying at Princeton, Hegseth was commissioned as an officer in the Minnesota Army National Guard. He joined the service in October 2002 and served as an infantry officer. In the course of his military service, Hegseth twice earned the Bronze Star and multiple other medals of distinction. Beyond his military service, Hegseth has been engaged in veteran’s advocacy efforts and has served as the CEO for Concerned Veterans for America. Hegseth voiced support for firing military leaders deemed to be too focused on advancing political causes, up to and including the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
“Any general that was involved—general, admiral, whatever—that was involved in any of the [Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs] woke [expletive] has got to go,” he said.
For the seventh year in a row, the Department of Defense (DOD) has failed its annual financial statement audit, a massive undertaking meant to ensure accountability for its $3.8 trillion in assets and $4 trillion in liabilities.
#2. Electors’ timeline up to Inauguration:
- On or before January 3, 2025—Archivist transfers Certificates to Congress. As the new Congress assembles, the Archivist transmits sets of Certificates to Congress, as requested. The transfer occurs in late December or early January when OFR’s Legal staff meets with representatives of the Secretary of the Senate, the Clerk of the House, and Congressional Parliamentarians.
- January 6, 2025—Congress counts the electoral votes: Congress meets in joint session to count the electoral votes. The Vice President, as President of the Senate, presides over the count and announces the results of the Electoral College vote. The President of the Senate then declares which persons, if any, have been elected President and Vice President of the United States. If any objections to the electoral votes are made, they must be submitted in writing and be signed by at least one-fifth of the members of the House and one-fifth of the Senators. If objections are presented, the House and Senate withdraw to their respective chambers to consider the merits of the objection(s) under procedures set out in Federal law. Only two grounds for objection are acceptable: that the electors of the State were not lawfully certified under a Certificate of Ascertainment, or that the vote of one or more electors has not been regularly given.
- January 20, 2025, at Noon—Inauguration Day: The President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Vance take the Oath of Office and become the President of the United States and Vice President of the United States, respectively.
The Democrats are making appearances of a peaceful transition of power. Just be aware that there are back deals, plots, and schemes they will try to employ up to Jan 20th to prevent Trump’s team from assuming power. They have whispered invoking the “Insurrectionist clause” in The 14the Amendment , section 3, “ No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”
Section 3 has rarely been applied. On March 4, 2024, in its only decision specifically interpreting Section 3, the Supreme Court held unanimously in Trump v. Anderson that states cannot enforce Section 3 against federal officeholders or candidates. In so ruling, the Supreme Court reversed the decision of the Colorado Supreme Court that had held former President Donald J. Trump to be ineligible for the office of President under Section 3 on the grounds that he had engaged in insurrection and, therefore, could not be listed on the Colorado presidential primary ballot.
Democrats have also talked about setting up a shadow government (who is the real threat to democracy?). Democrat governors have vowed to stop Trump’s agenda in their states. NGOs (including the ACLU) are preparing legal efforts to thwart Trump’s agenda. The press has already begun their propaganda campaign against him. Senator Schumer is calling for Republicans to be bipartisan, despite his history of blocking Republicans in the Senate at every opportunity.
Be prepared to hear a lot of hyperbole, hatred, dismissiveness, and hubris from the left. Don’t listen to it or allow it to bring fear. Instead, lets pray for that “our democratic electoral process moves forward without drama or challenge”. Trump won in a landslide fashion which gave both a Senate and House majority and a popular vote victory. This trifecta should help keep the insurrectionist play off the table..
#3. A new alignment between the Government and the Church https://youtu.be/0I1ZKrxCEVA
As the Supreme Court continues to address these issues, the balance between religious liberty and governmental neutrality remains a cornerstone of American constitutional law
There was never supposed to be a separation of religion (values, morals, and ethics) from government- the constitution guarantees that the Government cannot chokehold, restrict, tax, or interfere with religion…
Justice Sandra Day O’Connor introduced the endorsement test in Lynch v. Donnelly (1984), proposing that government actions should not endorse or disapprove of religion. This test aimed to ensure that citizens would not feel marginalized due to governmental acts.
What has God just done?
The state where Satan tried to assassinate Trump- is the state that put him in the White House.
This was a great 30-minute podcast outlining the opportunity for a new alignment between the Government and the Church, which is a win for the nations and for the gospel.
Lance Wallnau unpacks his “Cyrus” model of leadership he feels epitomizes Trumps style and his destiny as the one to “Make the World Great again.” (Is 45 is the reference point).
Trump interrupted the Marxist Global reset. Wallnau believes Christians will have a rare opportunity these next 24-48 months to share the gospel to the nations- with the blessing of Presidents, Prime Ministers, and others in Government leadership bodies.
The opportunity the Church will step in – is to be Statesmen Evangelists like Billy Graham.
Together, the Church and Sheep Nations will fuel a Reformation of Renaissance proportions. He that has an ear- let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
Last, Wallnau reminds the Church of Trumps promise to Evangelicals for The White House Office of Faith and Religious Freedom.
“We have to save religion in this country. I mean, honestly, religion is under threat in this country, serious threat, and we can’t let that happen,” said Trump. “It’s sort of the fabric of our country. It’s the thing that holds our country together. We can’t, we can’t lose it. We’re not going to lose it.”
In May 2018, President Trump established the White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative, in the Executive Office of the President of the United States. The administration said the initiative would give faith-based organizations a “voice in the White House.”
Trump vowed to reinstate the Faith Office he originally established during his first term, emphasizing the critical role of religion in the nation. President Donald Trump has promised to provide faith leaders with direct access to him in the Oval Office if he wins the election. Trump announced plans to create a task force to combat anti-Christian bias, which the former president said would focus on investigating “all forms of illegal discrimination, harassment and persecution against Christians in America.”
The Electors timeline needs all our attention and prayer.
Please put these dates on your calendar and remind your local representative- that you expect them to complete the task of certifying the 2024 election results- without hesitancy.
God has truly blessed America-
